Steve Burrows , Our Golf Club President presented a donation to the Cornwall Air Ambulance.

‘Falmouth Golf Club President Steve Burrows said he was delighted to donate to the Air Ambulance, as not only did it save his life many years ago,but is an amazing asset to the people of Cornwall and annual running costs are several million pound a yearwhich is why it is vital to support it wherever possible writes Keith Rasleigh.

Steve added: “You never know it just mught be your life that is saved next time. I was made very welcome by the whole team at Cornwall Air Ambulance”.

The Cheque represented half of the monies raised in Steve’s recent Presidents Day, the other £2140 being donated to the Club Captain Nick Chinn’s charity for homeless dogs K9.

Steve continued: ” Very importantly, I would like to thank Stewart Boon, the Branch Manager of Lloyds Bank Falmouth and his staff for their kindness and generosity in match funding £1000 of the amount rasied, it is very much appreciated.

Once again, my sincere thanks also go to the sponsors and members of Falmouth Golf Club who helped to raise such a super amount on the day “.
